A journey that no one can see, a journey that starts with a stirring from the heart and mind, a journey that starts from outside to within your very heart and mind, a journey that the seeker can only feel but cannot see. I am referring to the spiritual journey that this website serves for anyone who is a seeker.
It all begins with a restlessness, a yearning, a burning desire to seek Truth, to seek God, to find out what is the meaning and purpose of life. In the beginning the search is external, in books, in places of worship, in groups or communities of like-minded people.
As the journey progresses, the seeker gets disillusioned with groups and communities as they do not seem to fulfill his desire for Truth as each one claims that their path is the correct one. This cannot be as there are many rivers and they all end in the same ocean. There are many races yet we call ourselves the human race.
The seeker soon finds the missing puzzle and that is – “seek God within you”. From this point onwards the seeker turns within and looks within himself, something he has not done before. He begins to see the dirt that he carries in his thoughts, words and deeds. He sees how self-centered he has been. He sees how much a taker rather than a giver he has been. He sees how selfish he has been. He sees how unforgiving he has been. He sees how judgmental he has been.
Suddenly he realises the meaning of the spiritual journey and how much work he has to do within himself. His true journey to salvation now begins and all the time spent on his outward journey seeking is just a preparation to this inward journey, a journey to his True Self.
