IN GOD WE HAVE REACHED HOME

Like little sheep we go to God lost, fearful,

not knowing where to go.

Like little sheep out in the open, scorch by the blazing sun, wet

and cold from the heavy downpour,

frightened by the thunder and lightning.

And then we realised God and His Presence

and His Love.

And the same scorching sun and the same

wet cold rain – only this time the fear is gone.

Only this time, we see the blindness removed,

and the same scorching sun is no more scorching

and the wet rain is no more wet and cold,

the thunder and lightning have lost its impact.

This time in God we have reached Home.
